Short history 

Our story began in 1950 in the Netherlands, when Thomas Ammeraal developed an extraordinary belt for the bakery industry. His groundbreaking innovation was capable of high performance in extreme conditions. This development sealed the foundation of Ammeraal. 

Since then, the company started to grow rapidly and expanded beyond Dutch borders. In 1990, we became a part of Gamma Holding, which acquired Verseidag AG and merged its belting subsidiary with Ammeraal. And so we changed our name to Ammeraal Beltech. The company soon conquered not only the German, Danish and British markets, but also entered the USA, China, Australia, and South America.

Another breakthrough came in December 2018, when our company joined Megadyne and Jason Industrial under single ownership and leadership to create a true global leader in belting – AMMEGA. We are united under one common identity, but we preserve our unique strengths and combine them with one another. Together, we make your business move.
